If you have searched for "naise" recently, you may have found two different websites and wondered whether they are related. They are. naise is the umbrella brand. It runs two products for two different audiences:

naise OS at naise.org is a business operating system for payroll, HR, attendance, leave, expenses and compliance. It is built for companies that employ people across Southeast Asia and India.
naise ride at naise.app is a ride app. It is launching soon in Singapore, and Singapore is the only city we have announced.

This post explains what each product is, who it is for, and why they share one name.

Why one umbrella brand?

Companies and their staff live across several products at once. A founder may pay employees through payroll software, manage leave and expenses in a business tool, and get to work every day on public transport. We want those experiences to come from one trusted name, while each product stays focused on its job.

The two products keep separate websites, separate sign-up flows and separate teams. The umbrella gives us a shared gold class standard for how we treat customers: honest claims, clearly labelled estimates, and a person to contact when something goes wrong.

naise OS: a business OS for multi-country teams

naise OS brings payroll, HR, attendance, leave, expense claims and multi-country compliance into one system.

Where naise OS operates

naise OS covers five countries: Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, India and the Philippines. Each country has its own tax, social security and reporting rules. The aim is to keep those rules in one platform rather than across spreadsheets and separate local tools.

Free calculators

Three free calculators are published on the site. Each one shows its rates and assumptions, and each is an estimate, not a payslip or tax filing.

Singapore CPF calculator. Uses the CPF contribution rates for January 2026 for Citizen and PR employees.
Malaysia salary calculator. Uses EPF, SOCSO, EIS and PCB rates for assessment year 2026, with the HRD Corp levy for employers with 10 or more staff.
India in-hand salary calculator. Uses the new tax regime for FY 2026-27, with provident fund, professional tax and labour welfare fund. Professional tax and labour welfare fund rates are set by each state and change often, so check your state's current rates.

AI that proposes, and people approve

Many businesses are cautious about AI that changes payroll or employee records, and so are we. naise OS's AI layer is designed around that caution:

Access is read-only by default.
Any write the AI proposes is queued for human review, with a full diff, before it is committed.
Each step in an approval chain is time-stamped and attributed.
Every read, write, AI action and approval is logged with the actor, time and IP address, and retained for seven years.

Because a payroll error can reach someone's pay packet and a compliance error can reach a regulator, we think this is the right default.

Connect naise OS to Claude

naise OS can connect to Claude as a remote connector. Claude can look up employees, attendance, leave, expense claims and payroll, and admins can approve requests or generate payroll, subject to the same approvals. Setup is covered in the connection guide. Connecting requires a naise OS account, a subscription to the relevant modules, and a Claude plan that allows connectors. Enterprise single sign-on is planned but not yet available.

Who naise OS is for

Our product page describes customers with 2 to 20,000 employees, from small teams hiring their first person abroad to larger companies managing payroll across several countries. To judge the fit for your team:

naise ride: a nicer way to get around Singapore

naise ride is our consumer product. It is launching soon in Singapore, with no date announced yet. It has its own site at naise.app and is not part of the business software at naise.org.

Ride customers and business customers do not need both products. The umbrella brand exists so that people who trust one part of naise have a reason to look at the other.

How to tell the two apart

Paying staff, managing HR records, or meeting payroll and compliance obligations across Southeast Asia and India? That is naise OS, at naise.org.
Looking for a ride in Singapore? That is naise ride, at naise.app, launching soon.

If you are unsure, start at the business site for anything related to employees, payroll or company operations.

What we will publish next

We will write more about how payroll works in each market, what changes when a company hires its first employee abroad, and how the approval model works in day-to-day use. Use the sign-up link on naise.org to follow updates.
